Basecamp Wallet is the industry’s only encrypted cryptographic seed phrase storage device. If a thief ever gets their hands on your wallet, they will not be able to easily read your seed phrase. However, the decryption algorithm is readily available so that you and other Basecamp Wallet holders can easily decode your seed phrase when necessary. Instructions for encoding and decoding your seed phrase are included with your purchase and available through customer support for registered users. Access to the encryption and decryption algorithms are only available to verified users via a support request to customer support.
At Basecamp Wallet we use a proprietary mathematical equation to convert your cryptographic seed phrase into a series of four digit numbers which are then stored on your Basecamp cryptographic hardware wallet. Thus, you’re 12 word seed phrase becomes 48 numbers and your 24 word seed phrase becomes 96 numbers. You will use the included punch tool to stamp these numbers into your Basecamp Wallet, close it with the included screws, and apply the tamper resistant tape.
We understand there are multiple protocols and crypto wallets available to each person. The Basecamp Wallet has been designed so that you can have multiple Basecamp Wallets. Each Basecamp Wallet can be given a designated wallet number for a maximum of 23 different wallets.
CAUTION: We ask that you do NOT share the included Basecamp encryption or decryption documentation with anyone, please have any user needing help to contact support. We also request you never publish it online in order to keep our entire community safe. Instructions for encoding and decoding seed phrases are shared with our registered customers. However, since this information is available, Basecamp Wallet will NOT guarantee that your seed phrase cannot be decrypted by savvy thieves. As with all hardware wallets and seed phrases, it is your responsibility to keep your Basecamp Wallets, hardware wallets, software wallets and seed phrases safe and secure at all times.
